Elementary Teacher
Job responsibilities include:
- Provide learning experiences in English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and social emotional learning to students, guided by the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
- Create hands-on and engaging lessons and activities following the Montessori teaching philosophy
- Collaborate with an assistant teacher to ensure the safety and well-being of each student while creating an academically enriching classroom environment
- Prepare an authentic Montessori learning environment for children ranging between the ages of 6 through 12 years old
Qualifications:
- To be considered qualified for the position of Elementary Teacher, candidates must have/be:
- Montessori Certified or Licensed, or eligible for licensure in Elementary Education
- Committed to remain current in content knowledge and Montessori teaching approaches
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, to children and adults

Floating Assistant Teacher
Job responsibilities include:
- Work with children using hands on lessons, activities and ensure a safe environment
- Prepare an environment in which furnishings, materials, and activities are developmentally appropriate and correspond to the needs of the children
- Supervise lunch and recess
Requirements:
Experience working in a preschool or elementary classroom
Interested in Montessori philosophy

Art Teacher
Job responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement a full range of classroom art activities appropriate to the age and grade level of the students
- Teach classes with children ages 2.9-10
- Teach an after school art enrichment course one afternoon a week
- Teach in the after school program
Schedule and Compensation:
- 11:00am – 6:00pm during the school year
- This position starts August 22, 2022
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Art or Art Education
- Experience teaching preschool and/or elementary children
