Full Time Assistant Teacher
Pincushion Hill Montessori School established in 1962 is seeking motivated, reliable, caring EEC certified or non-certified teachers for full time Assistant Teacher positions in the Children’s House classrooms. Our school year runs from September through June and our 9 week summer program runs from June – August.
We are located in Ashland, MA and serve families with children ages 2.9-6 years for the Children’s House classrooms. The school also offers an elementary program for children grades 1-8.
He/she will work with the Director and plan with the Lead Teacher to prepare lessons for a range of ages and ability levels. Montessori experience is preferred but not necessary (on-site training offered as well as sponsorship in a MACTE accredited Montessori Teacher Training Program).

Summer Program Teacher
Pincushion Hill Montessori School is looking for teachers to work at our Summer Discovery Program. We are looking for warm, caring, and knowledgeable teachers that have a background working with children (2.9-10 years old). This employee will join our summer team of teachers working in a collaborative environment with a nature-rich, child-centered curriculum on our spacious campus with beautiful gardens.
Our Summer Discovery Program runs for 9 weeks from June 12th to August 11th.
Our discovery program explores a variety of themes including ocean studies, cultural studies, gardening, wildlife, exploration of the natural world, creating, building, water play, lego programs, arts, crafts, music and movement.
Music Teacher Ad
Pincushion Hill Montessori School is a nurturing, dynamic Montessori school in Ashland, MA that serves families with children ages 2.9 – 12 years old. We are looking for a special individual who loves to teach children to sing from beginners to advanced, while incorporating musical instruments and movement lessons. Preparing students for a music recital, school concert, and private music lessons are part of the curriculum. Our school year runs from September through June and our 9 week summer program runs from June – August.
The music teacher would be responsible for teaching and instilling an appreciation of music from preschool to eighth grade.
Schedule is 9:00-5:00 Monday through Friday. Benefits include health and dental insurance + employee retention bonus after 6 months.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Music Education
- At least 1 year of teaching experience
