The Pincushion Parent Association (PPA) would like to welcome each one of you to the Pincushion Community. One of the exciting aspects about joining Pincushion is the supportive parents you will meet. By enrolling your child at Pincushion, you are automatically an integral member of the PPA.
One thing that you will learn about Pincushion parents is that we are all excited about supporting our children and working with the Pincushion Hill Montessori School (PHMS) faculty to foster a great learning environment for our children. The following parents are excited to represent all of you on the PPA Board for the 2011-2012 Academic Year:
Please feel free to contact us with any questions, ideas, or concerns you have. The PPA is only as strong as all of its talented parents, so we encourage all parents to be as active as possible.
Organizing fun events and fostering a caring community for our children takes hard work and LOTS of volunteers. You will be required to volunteer for at least one of the events, and our hope is that we can tap into your talents. If you enjoy photography, then we hope you will serve as a photographer. Enjoy baking or cooking? You will have a chance to provide goodies for the children. We will be creating a list of volunteer opportunities and will need your help by signing up for a committee or helping with an event. Also, we welcome your thoughts and ideas at our meetings–this is a large organization, and we want to represent you well. Welcome to the PPA, we look forward to a great year with YOU!
(All PPA Meetings are held at PHMS from 6:30-8:30 p.m.)
