Pincushion Hill Montessori School has vast gardens throughout the property, which provide a year-round bounty of beauty, fruits, vegetables and teaching moments. These gardens support every aspect of our curriculum including: language arts, science, practical life, mathematics, the arts, and so much more.

The Mission of the Pincushion Hill Garden: To renew and sustain the essential connection between people, plants, and the earth by promoting environmental stewardship, the science of gardening, cross-curricular learning, and health and wellness in our school. The garden is a dynamic environment, an outdoor laboratory, buzzing with life, change, and physical activity.
