From 3:05 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday and during February and April vacation, parent teacher conferences and two staff development days.

Pincushion Hill Montessori School has always supported and will continue to support working parents.

We offer an after school program from 3:05-6:00 pm everyday.  During that time children eat a snack in small groups, practicing independence and self-reliance.  Each week activities are presented to the children based on a different theme and all activities in the after school program support that theme.  Each week the children hear a book related to the theme, sing songs and learn fingerplays.  They make a theme-related snack and craft every week.

The students are offered a variety of activities each day in the after school program. They have the opportunity for indoor and outdoor activities, working individually, with a classmate or in a small group.

Children continue building relationships with their friends and teachers while participating in the after school program.  They have opportunities to work in the vast gardens, build cooperative projects and play games (indoors and outdoors).  The after school staff is experienced in Montessori philosophy and have regular meetings to support and challenge eachother to be the best teachers possible.

We also offer child care on two of the four teacher professional days and during parent/teacher conferences, as well as during February and April breaks.
